"Our main timeframe was from the invention of Barbie through to now. The timeless pieces, which also has an echo to the actual toys that were in the dream house that Mattel makes today. It's very simple, and clear, and beautiful. That was one of Greta's key words. "It has to be beautiful. It has to be beautiful, as well." Taking it properly from the late '50s to the '60s was a big influence of that modernist furniture that was coming through." – BARBIE'S SET DECORATOR KATIE SPENCER TALKS DESIGN OF THE DREAMHOUSE

Having your own personal blog is honestly quite a nice change of pace compared to Reddit. I could put a funny GIF of George Bush getting hit by a shoe on here and the worse case scenario is that no one even notices.

You put that on a big subreddit and you get your eyes gouged out and a heap of political discourse underneath your post.

" Mirrored Souls" is the concept of my next Gwynriel commissions... Azriel and Gwyn are similar in so many ways whether it's in the way they view themselves or in the way they are unreasonably loyal and stubborn or the lengths they would go for the ones they love .... As someone who believes they are mates based on SJMs previous mate parallels I think Az and Gwyn are mirrored souls

Gwyneth Berdara and Azriel from A court of silver flames

I am very pleased to announce that "Mirrored Souls" will be an officially licensed fanart and prints will be available in August with @atouchofmagicdesigns

Artist @hatchatwork just blessed me with the perfect execution of my treasured concept. I love working with him and I will continue to work with him in the future too

i think Silo is easier for me to watch than most post-apocalyptic stuff because consistently, throughout the series, the people in the Silo are people. they have hobbies, and interests, and natural human curiosity. it's not all gritty and dark for everyone all the time, there's moments of lightness and humour and happiness for the characters. which is something a lot of shows leave out (which is fair, if the tone set is meant to be so dark), so it's nice to see

nothing will ever beat the moment i saw freddy carter as kaz brekker covered in blood, his teeth bared, saying “i recommend a cane” after throwing a man who had a chain around his throat to the fucking ground. and then proceeds flick the knife into the air and then to throw a knife at a man with such force that the man falls to the fucking ground. looking hot as fuck being violent.
